I am forwarding this information to support a brand new dance showcase in San Diego:
* We will be starting out by doing our Showcase once a month, and developing it into a weekly event later.
* Showcases will be held on the first Sunday of each month, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
* The Showcase will feature various styles of dancing: Belly Dancing, Hoop Dancing, Flamenco, Salsa, Tango, Hip Hop, etc, and some live music.
* On some Sundays we will also have a workshop.
* There will be some vending and a snack bar.
* There is no charge to attend the showcase. Donations, however, will be appreciated.
* Plenty of free parking!
Remember:
* We have taken the first step, but the success of this showcase depends in large part on your participation and spreading the word.
* Attention performers: Contact us two weeks in advance if you want to perform.
* Attention instructors: Contact us several weeks in advance if you want to offer a workshop.
* Don't forget, suggestions are always helpful and welcome. Tell us what you think, even if you're not going to participate.
