About a month ago, the Hoop Unit was rehearsing our debut performance for Elysium in Ocean Beach and 4 people got tickets! We were given no warning! We were using safety precautions (fire safeties with duvetyn) and not partying or engaging in anything (else) illegal, but actually working hard and rehearsing to create the fabulous show some of you may have seen at Elysium. Fire spinning has been safe in Ocean Beach for years, this came out of nowhere and caught us all off guard. Each ticket is $625, totaling in $2,500 that needs to be raised!
