I recently started Chiropractic treatments with Barbara Carlson. I am pleasantly surprised how easy it was to establish a relationship with her. I had been seeing another Chiropractor for many years and after he moved I tried out a couple of new prospects. When I started with Barbara I knew I'd found my new Doctor. She is very confident and experienced with a gentle touch and can definitely give you an amazing adjustment. Her office is in a very convenient location in Hillcrest right off Washington St with easy parking. The office is quiet, clean and well run. I have been a client with Barbara for about 8 years. A Workman’s Compensation Dr referred me after a worksite injury. I was very skeptical. After I filled out my Medical History, Barbra spent plenty of time in listening to me and asking questions. I began to relax because she knew what she was talking about and cared about me as a person. From the very first visit I felt better, and began to heal. Barbara is always available. If you call for an appointment, she finds a way to get you in ASAP. She knows you call because you are in PAIN. For the last several years I have continued to see her when I felt it was necessary. I have referred my family and several co-workers to her. Everyone has been very happy with her work. I have read the other reviews, before mine, and all I can say is; If you decline to pay your bills, that does not make the provider a bad person! - Billie , posted 02/04/10 |

Not sure what the person before me wrote but just thought I should clarify things as I've been a patient of hers for almost 10 years! I have never had any problems with her, ever. My kids and husband go to see her as well. Whenever we need an appointment we always call and can get right in. She also makes us all feel comfortable (even my teenage children) and within a few visits we are back to normal. And I never feel pushed into coming in more than I should. NOt only she did a terrible job helping me out with my siple problem (one day when she was out of the office her office partner substituted her and even he did a better job) but she is a lyer and a vendictive person. We agreed on the initial amount of money per visit and the rest was going to be filed for my insurance. My insurance paid the rest. But after about 2 weeks I decided it was not for me (a waste of money and time to come and see her). So I decided to finish working with her as a patient. but then I got a bill of $35. Even though it was a small amount of money, I did not feel like I had to give her another penny. So I called and declined to pay. So the witch is turning me over to collections for $35 to ruin my credit! Can you believe it? All I have to say if yu have time on your hands to call, harrass and turn people over to collections over $35 that you were wrongfully claiming, you have too much time on your hands! This office is clean and relaxing. Barbara is well-versed in the art and science of the practice of chiropractic medicine and is able to talk even the most reluctant (me) person into relaxing so that she can put the body back into order.
