Everything I've had from this bakery is excellent or better. It's also a nice place to sit and sip your coffee and/or eat, if you can get a seat. Seating is plentiful, but the place is very popular. Still, it's usually possible to find a seat even at the busiest times. Best apple pie I've ever had, and it's not even close to being my favorite thing there. The candidates for that include the cinnamon rolls and the Belgian fantasy brownies. All that, and the employees actually seem to enjoy working there. - Kingsley Tigger , posted 11/05/06 |

 I love going to Bread and Cie for a fresh slice of bread or two, a cup of coffee, and relax and watch Hillcrest walk by on the sidewalk patio. They have daily selections of bread that hardly need any embellishments, all of which are great. The people are friendly, and although it fills up, the line moves quickly! - Jenni , posted 08/23/05 |

A wide selection of FINE breads from around the globe, and many many desserts to make your mouth and wallet feel like its worth it. You can find a nice variety of fresh breads in flavors like fig and anise. And/or order a tastey sandwich. Their roasted eggplant sandwich is delicious- something a co-worker recommended that I usually would not order. - Lorraine ૐ , posted 09/09/04 |
