They indeed have a good lineup, but my last experience there (and it really was bad enough that it may BE my LAST experience there) saw a flood over most of the floor, and yuck! The flood was from an overflowing toilet--and they just went on with business as usual, without attending to the toilet or to the flooding! - Kingsley Tigger , posted 10/25/05 |

the "ambience" of the casbah and the fact that it has such a strange location and usually great lineup of shows coupled with two bars, a pool table and two rooms and a deck to wander back and forth through (if you can get through the crowds that roll in with the popular shows)... it's a little gem. very VERY similar to the Bottom of the Hill in SF. almost the exact same type of music, clientele and atmosphere. oddly enough. the acoustics aren't that bad.... it's just tiny. in a good way. - kira , posted 09/11/04 |
