Great Music to listen and dance to
Located just a block from the Pacific Ocean in Ocean Beach, Winston's is a great place for live music for listening and dancing to. The food is so-so and the drinks are, well, drinks, but the vibe of the people who come to dance and enjoy some great music is what makes this place rock. Funky and free rather than pretentious, you can find great live music here EVERY day/night of the week, with most bands playing blues, rock and reggae. I saw SambaDa and Delta Nova here right after Baja Bash and samba and salsaed my ass off! Winston's was only one of two venues in San Diego to feature the amazing Emmanual Elijah during his return to the States last month as well. A great place to let your hair down, shake your booty and your dread locks and just celebrate music. - Pandora , posted 09/09/04
